Sixty Four...

I don't know how I could write enough about my mom in a blog post that would even scratch the surface about how amazing she is. I am so glad she was born this day a few decades ago. My mom is my rock. I have often wondered how on earth I survived being the brattiest toddler, the sassiest pre-teen, a high-schooler that pushed the envelope a little too much at times, to turn into a decent citizen, wife, and mother. I owe it to her. She never judged, criticized, or forced anything on me. Now don't get me wrong, I did get punished, but she did everything with love. She has supported me in anything I wanted to do, and most of the times has held my hand through it all. I went to hell and back once (giving birth to Bo) and when it was all over, she was the first one there to hug me and make sure I was okay. She is an incredible Grandma. I am so grateful for her example of a Christ-like person, a wife that is madly in love with her husband, and a mother that would hand even the last Oreo over to one of her children. She is amazing. I love you mom! Happy Birthday!

You need to give yourself more credit, silly. It's been a joy learning from you and gaining more confidence as a mother through our experiences. I have enjoyed the journey and continue to do so. I love you!!! Thanks for the post.
