SJ+KO=4EVER

The first 50 years of marriage
are the HARDEST!!!

Kyle and I celebrated our 4th anniversary last week!!! We celebrated by going shopping at Gateway, eating at PF Changs for dinner, Staying at the Grand America and enjoying their AMAZING Sunday brunch there!!! Everything was so wonderful, and we had so much fun together. The room we stayed in at the Grand was seriously as big as our whole house. So we got to feel like rich people- which is always fun.

The view from our balcony was great!

Enjoying dinner

The brunch has everything you can imagine to eat! Kyle's favorite were the made to order crepes, and my favorite was the made from scratch mac n cheese. Kyle ate so much that he honestly almost threw up. It was great!!!

Here are some more fun pictures from this past week!!! The first couple are some Halloween fun of us carving Pumpkins with Nick and Amanda. And then we got some family pictures done a week ago, and this was just one that I took of us girls. So FUN!!!

FALL-A-THON...

I was feeling like I needed a challenge a few weeks ago, and since I have been staying pretty conditioned since my marathon in August, I got this crazy idea to do another half-marathon!!! Well, all of the rest of the runs in Utah are all full or registration was closed, so I decided to do my own. I mapped out the distance on mapmyrun.com and charted a lovely 13.1 course on the Jordan River Parkway. We prepared for the run by having an enormous dinner at Texas roadhouse that included a lot of rolls, potatoes, sugar... Mom and Amanda were my Krew for the run, and cruised on the beach cruisers and cheered for me the entire time. I only caught their cheers in between songs on my sjpod list because I was listening to it full blast to keep my mind off what I was doing for 2 hours 14 minutes!!! The last mile, I caught a second wind and pushed myself pretty hard to finish! Kyle was waiting at the end with Jamba Juices for all of us, which was a fantastic surprise! I had no idea he was planning on being there! We all celebrated and then I came home for a nice long shower. Mom and I are going to do the St. George 1/2 marathon in January, so we will be gearing up for that soon!

At dinner!

Fall Fun Part 1

Last night was a treat! We got to go to the HAUNTED village at This is the place park with Shanna and Hadley! It really was a blast minus the awful 16 year olds that were everywhere, the price we were fooled on and had to pay to get in, and the interesting character that was a part of our group that kept referring to the gun and knife he had in his bag " just in case" anyone got silly around him. I thought this was going to be a cutesy Halloween thing... nope, it was scary, and there was some pretty intense moments. I was fascinated by the old buildings and history at this is the place, and especially by the headless horseman that, I am not kidding you, came within inches of running over us at full speed!!! That was my favorite part! I LOVE HALLOWEEN! More fun to come!
