One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Bo Fish

Bo is in swim lessons. We do a mom and tots class together. The first lesson was traumatic for both of us. When I dunked Bo's head underwater, he came up crying, and choking. I did that the rest of the night. I seriously could not stop thinking about what a bad mom I was for doing that to him. Then I got some reassurance from my Pediatrician that it was fine and that was the way kids learn to close their mouths. We persevered and went again. The second time was the same but a little worse with crying during each activity. He got a little better at going under each time we went though. Yesterday we went, and he LOVED it. He was splashing, laughing, talking, and he closed his eyes and mouth every time he went under. There was an underwater photographer at the lessons, and he got a great shot of Bo swimming under the water! I am so happy we stuck with it, and kept him going. He is such a little turkey and we can't get enough of him. Here are some awesome pictures. Oh, and 4 month stats.

Just a few things...

Go see this movie. I loved it and left wanting to join a chat room to discuss it.

Get breaking in your running shoes for the Fall-A-Thon. Make sure that you get your shoes 1 size bigger than you normally wear. Your feet swell and your toes hit the front of your shoes when you run so it is recommended to have some space for your feet to move around. It has saved my life. 9 weeks left... Still time to train if you haven't started. Email me if you need some help... runfat2010@hotmail.com

Eat these. They are the best thing you could ever do for your mouth... and your soul. Which leads me to this...

I am buying this because the infomercial convinced me to.

Stare at this picture... DEEEELISH.

One Year, Today, Two Years

I have done some deep pondering the past couple of days.

One year ago I could wear a bikini.
One year ago I loved to exercise.
One year ago I was full time at work and super busy.
One year ago I drove a sexy car.
One year ago I spent lots of money.
One year ago I always had a clean house.
One year ago I went to bed late, slept in late.
One year ago I took hours to get ready.
One year ago I would plan romantic getaways for Kyle and I and looked forward to them.
One year ago I found out we were going to have a baby.

Today, I look forward to squeezing my spare tire into an elastic waist skirt.
Today, I can't pry myself away from the couch, recliner, and cuddles.
Today, I am part-time at work, never have time to eat, and when I do, I pump to feed someone else.
Today, I have almost caused many car accidents turned around trying to find a pacifier, have a permanent car seat base in my backseat, and someone that has to listen to me sing.
Today, I pretty much own Babies R Us
Today, I don't care if the dishes and laundry aren't done, I will do them this weekend
Today, I can't wait to see a little face at 5 in the morning smiling to see me and at 8 at night closing his eyes so I can go to bed.
Today, I have 30 minutes start to finish to get ready.
Today, Kyle and I plan all the fun things we can't wait to do with Bo.
Today, I am so happy, grateful, and obsessed with Little Mister Man

Two Years from now, I will get my braces off.
