One Year, Today, Two Years

I have done some deep pondering the past couple of days.

One year ago I could wear a bikini.
One year ago I loved to exercise.
One year ago I was full time at work and super busy.
One year ago I drove a sexy car.
One year ago I spent lots of money.
One year ago I always had a clean house.
One year ago I went to bed late, slept in late.
One year ago I took hours to get ready.
One year ago I would plan romantic getaways for Kyle and I and looked forward to them.
One year ago I found out we were going to have a baby.

Today, I look forward to squeezing my spare tire into an elastic waist skirt.
Today, I can't pry myself away from the couch, recliner, and cuddles.
Today, I am part-time at work, never have time to eat, and when I do, I pump to feed someone else.
Today, I have almost caused many car accidents turned around trying to find a pacifier, have a permanent car seat base in my backseat, and someone that has to listen to me sing.
Today, I pretty much own Babies R Us
Today, I don't care if the dishes and laundry aren't done, I will do them this weekend
Today, I can't wait to see a little face at 5 in the morning smiling to see me and at 8 at night closing his eyes so I can go to bed.
Today, I have 30 minutes start to finish to get ready.
Today, Kyle and I plan all the fun things we can't wait to do with Bo.
Today, I am so happy, grateful, and obsessed with Little Mister Man

Two Years from now, I will get my braces off.

The 14 year old that now lives with Kyle.

Sarah,

I've had adult braces, and let me wish you well on your way.

Bo is adorable. I'm glad you are having so much fun with the little guy.

Hi Sarah! I found your blog through Amanda's...I hope that's okay!

I loved your post! It's so true--everything totally changes once you have kids! Your little man Bo is so cute! What a cute family you guys are :)

Braces...no fun! I had them for like 3 years and then I stopped wearing my retainer after I got married and now I'm kicking myself because my teeth are getting all crooked again. Good luck :)

Oh yeah--we have a blog too! It's private but I can invite you to it if I could get your email. My email is andipandius@hotmail.com if you are interested :) It's fun to catch up with you and see how things are going!
