Christmas Time is Here Again...

Christmas was AMAZING. Christmas Eve is spent with Kyle's family. Mom A always makes is so special. Her home is decorated to the max! The sights, smells, and sounds are nothing but Holiday. It feels like a Winter Wonderland. We have a Christmas Eve Feast with amazing food, candle light, and plenty of laughs. There is a Christmas program that we always enjoy : Singing, the story of Christ's birth, and plenty of wild kids running around and parents trying to calm them all down. Kyle played the (magic fiddle) and it was the only 3 minutes of the night that the kids were 1- silent and 2- perfectly still. They were completely charmed. Kyle and I also each shared a Christmas Testimony, and I expressed how grateful I am to not be pregnant this year. I did get a little more spiritual than that too. Bo just wanted to crawl up the huge flight of stairs all night.

Crawling up the stairs all night

Bo eating his Christmas Eve dinner, he chose the name "King" that was given to Christ for us to remember as we ate.

We slept in on Christmas morning, slept in meaning 7 AM. Kyle and I are usually too excited to sleep, but this year we were too tired to wake. Life with Bo is a non-stop party, and we needed some rest. Kyle and I got up and opened our stockings and presents with each other.

It was great to be together just enjoying each other opening gifts. I got Kyle a lower bowl ticket to a Jazz Game with Nick, an art gallery with his photography displayed, clothes, movies, a shake weight, stuff for basketball, and goodies. Kyle bought me a DSLR camera!

I was so excited! It is a Nikon D80 and takes pictures 1 million times better than my old camera. I have been wanting a nice camera for a very long time, and we have been saving up for one. Kyle bought me a few accessories and books to help guide me on my way, and I would like to get enrolled in a few classes to help me get better at taking pictures. I just want to be able to take some really great photos of my family! Kyle also gave me some shoes I wanted and jewelry. When we were done, Bo woke up and we opened a few presents for him.

I didn't really get him much because all he would want for Christmas is to be alone in a room with remote controls, cell phones, and cords to unplug and no one to take them away from him. I did wrap up a little football we bought to use in Lake Powell and forgot about and he LOVED IT. It didn't leave his mouth for about 5 minutes.

Bo's Christmas Jammies. I couldn't get enough of them!

After we got ready, we cruised to Mom and Dad S house for our traditional Breakfast Feast. We opened more presents which included a cute handprint of Bo's that my mom made in plaster for me, a nativity with my Grandma's testimony, books, balls, bonds treats, Marshall Industries jackets, and A TRIP TO DISNEYLAND FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!!!

We had a great day with the boys watching basketball and the girls doing a murder mystery puzzle. We all then left for afternoon naps, and to get ready for the Italian Feast I cooked that night. It was a great day, and aside from all the hooplah and gifts, I really was a little emotional thinking about the savior as a little boy, and Mary watching him grow and how she must have felt the year after his birth looking back at everything that had happened to her. I am grateful for her sacrifice.
