And it begins...

Stupid teeth. Bo and I have had our fair share this week.

Poor little mister... He is cutting his first tooth. Bo is a tough little guy and trying to be happy, buy it isn't going so well. He is drooling everywhere. He is very sensitive. He is waking up multiple times in the night. He is rubbing his tongue on it over and over. He sucks on his bottom lip non-stop. He doesn't want to eat. He head butted me in the mouth which resulted in my lip getting stuck in my braces and me now dealing with a fabulous new canker sore in my mouth. This little mean tooth better get it over with. I am going to get better prepared for the next ones coming.

I had a temporary crown put on this week. I have been needing this for about 2 years, but have been putting it off. My tooth was starting to fall apart though, and I have to get it done with the new braces situation. I hate going in for teeth anything. My siblings and I have had some pretty traumatic experiences at the dentist. The only thing that gets me through is getting hooked up to the good old nitrous tank the second I walk in the door.

Terrible things that have happened at the dentist or teeth to me and my loved ones:

The invention of sugar, popcorn, nuts, plastic, kool-aid, and fingernails.
J.C. Christensen DDS... I don't need to say anything more than I can't believe this man had a license to practice.
Mitch was called a liar at the dentist.
I had a horrible experience with wisdom teeth dry sockets.
Amanda was awake while she had her wisdom teeth removed.
Dr. Chipman DDS
Alisha turned into an actual animal in the chair during a cleaning and tried to jump from a moving vehicle after.
Shanna has ruined her nerves in her teeth from bleaching them so much.
Mom has broken teeth multiple times on toffee bits.
I have had to get fillings, root canals, and crowns REDONE due to terrible original work.
Kyle went in to have a root canal and crown done on a tooth that was in pain, and without getting pre-authorization done, we had to pay $2000 for it.
A piece of filling silver was dropped in my eye. It was painful, but not as painful as the drill cutting my cheek open as I lunged out of the chair.
Amanda was hit in the front teeth with a bowling ball, and has had a multitude of problems with a stupid fake tooth.
My teeth moved more in my 9 months of pregnancy than in my entire life.

These are just a few of the great things that have happened with my families mouths... pretty sure I will get my braces off, and all my teeth will fall out.

Loved this. Laughed so hard! You forgot about how Mitchell ripped his pants in the dentist chair when he was on laughing gas and couldn't control himself.

I went to a dentist when I was 14 and it was a guy in our ward. I had never had a cavity, but I somehow ended up with 14 after that visit. Pretty sure he was making holes in my teeth with his little tool then charging us to fill them. We never went back.

That is the funniest, saddest list I have ever seen. We have had some of the same experiences....JC Christensen, being charged for a crown before you agree to let them put it on. Braces on, Braces off, teeth still have spaces between them. The list goes on.....but don't forget that Gma has her own set of dentures. Yea. we keep those DDS's in business!
